Scope & Content:
19th C. Souvenir Album of Fanny Morse, who lived in the house known now (2017) as the Captain Daniel Packer Inn house, Mystic, CT. The album contains poems and notes from friends, many beautiful engravings / illustrations, and a pressed leaf.

Inscribed, March 13th, 1850:

"May health with all its blessings crown'd
And joy in one perpetual round
May friendships smile serenely gay
Illume your path through life's short day

May you with fervent hope impulsed
Enjoy life's tranquil evening rest
Then winged by faith from earth's dull clod
Rise to the bosom of your God."
