Scope & Content:
19th C. Souvenir Album of Fanny Morse, who lived in the house known now (2017) as the Captain Daniel Packer Inn house, Mystic, CT. The album contains poems and notes from friends, many beautiful engravings / illustrations, and a pressed leaf.

*Inscribed "To Fanny," by Lydia H. Clift, not dated (between 1849-1852):

"Happy the life that in a peaceful stream
Obscure, unnoticed, through the vale has flowed
The heart that never was changed by fortune gleam
To ever meet contentment's blest abode"
