On the reverse side it says "Capt Nathaniel Fanning Journal of Trip to Antarctica" / but this doesn't relate to the content in this book. Some of the entries appear to be for a shoemaker or shoe repair business.

Re Ezra Huntley, who's listed as having book repair done: "That would be the Ezra Huntley who married Eunice Holmes and he is buried in an enclosed farm cemetery in North Stonington." per Virgil W. Huntley
