Access to Our Collections

The Mystic River Historical Society actively collects documents, photographs and artifacts with historic links to the Mystic area.  If you are ‘down-sizing’ and discover collections of family letters, photographs, journals, diaries, or other documents, in your attic or cellar, please consider donating them to the MRHS.  Our repository is a secure archival environment, accessible to future generations of your family, as well as to our community.

Our professional curatorial staff welcomes your visit and/or inquiry.  We will be happy to help you in any way possible with your Mystic area research, be it by phone, U.S. mail, email, or in person.

Collections Manager ~ Dorrie Hanna  BA in English from University of Michigan; Library certificate from University of Rhode Island. Also employed at Mystic & Noank Library.
